Yellowstone tours are our specialty. We have a versatile range of vans and local knowledgeable guides to maximize your enjoyment of Yellowstone. All our summer van tours include a picnic in the park and our winter snowcoaches turn your trip into something uniquely special. We offer daily Spring, Summer and Fall tours around the lower loop, morning & evening wildlife tours of Yellowstone’s upper Loop as well as tours through Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. During winter we take you the the winter wonderlands of Old Faithful and Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. AND for the Cross Country Skiing enthusiast, we now offer Ski Shuttle’s into Yellowstone for those who want to Ski More & Ride Less.

Summer Yellowstone Tours

In summer the major roadways in Yellowstone National Park form a figure of 8. We separate these into 2 tours – the Lower & Upper Loops. Each tour departs from West Yellowstone and lasts for approximately 8 Hours.

The tour descriptions below are based on taking an anti-clockwise direction around the loop. However the tour may go in a clockwise direction depending on many factors such as road works, weather, animal sightings etc.

Yellowstone Lower Loop

This tour takes in the thermal features of the Upper and Lower Geyser basins such as Fountain Paint Pots and Biscuit Basin, the highlight being witnessing the world famous Old Faithful.

The tour then passes through Craig Pass and across the Continental Divide and skirts the banks of the Yellowstone River heading into Hayden Valley and up to Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

The tour then continues past Norris Geyser Basin and Gibbon Falls before completing the lower loop at Madison Junction and heading back through Madison Meadow to West Yellowstone.

Although this tour focuses more on the Geothermal and landscape features, depending on the time of year there is a good chance you will see Bison, Elk, Coyotes, Grizzly Bears, Moose, Bald Eagles, Osprey and Trumpeter Swans.

Yellowstone Upper Loop

The Upper Loop tour takes you to the northern reaches of the park and is called the “Wildlife Tour” for obvious reasons. We offer two options on this tour. One departs at 7:00am, to catch the early morning sightings of wildlife while the other at Midday allowing us to watch the animals as the day cools off in the early evening.

From West Yellowstone you turn left at Madison Junction to Canyon were you get to see the Majestic Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. You then head North east through Dunraven Pass which is a great area to spot both Grizzly and Black Bears. Then on to Tower Falls and out into the Lamar Valley where more bears as well as Bison, and Wolves are often spotted. From Tower we head to Mammoth Hot Springs, keeping an eye out for Deer, Pronghorn and Big Horn Sheep along the route. From Mammoth we head back down through Norris and Gibbon Falls, back to West Yellowstone.

Grand Teton/Jackson Hole

The Grand Teton tour takes in Three States, Two National Parks and a National Forest – and still gets you back into West Yellowstone in time for dinner!

You will drive across the Border into Idaho and along the longest main Street in the USA through Island Park. You will then take the beautiful Scenic Byway stopping off at Mesa Falls, before driving through Idaho’s Potato Farmland to the Foot of the Grand Teton Mountain Range.

Crossing the southern end of the range into Wyoming you will stop off in classic cowboy town Jackson Hole where you will have time to explore the town. From Jackson Hole we head north into Grand Teton National Park, past Jenny and Jackson lakes and enter Yellowstone through the South Entrance. We then link up onto the Lower Loop and head clockwise through the park to Madison Junction ending up back in West Yellowstone.

TOUR PRICES:-

LOWER LOOP: $74.95 Adults, $69.95 Seniors, $64.95 Children (Every Day)

UPPER LOOP: $74.95 Adults, $69.95 Seniors, $64.95 Children (AM – Mon & Thur. PM – Tue, Fri & Sat)

All Summer tours include a “Picnic in the Park”

PRIVATE SPRING, SUMMER & FALL TOURS

Winter Yellowstone Tours

In winter we offer three options – Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and a Ski Shuttle.

The Old Faithful and Canyon tours are full day tours, departing from West Yellowstone Approx 8:30AM and returning around 4:30PM. The Ski Shuttle departs approx 10:00AM, returning to town around 4:00PM

The Old Faithful and Canyon tours are both available by Snowcoach and Snowmobile. These tour may vary on a daily basis depending on the very unpredictable winter weather, road conditions and animal sightings:-

OLD FAITHFUL TOUR

This tour takes in the thermal features of the Upper and Lower Geyser basins including walking around Fountain Paint Pots, and views of Midway Geyser Basin and Biscuit Basin.

The highlight of the tour being witnessing the world famous Old Faithful erupt amongst the winter landscape. Plenty of time is allocated to the stop at Old Faithful allowing you time to eat lunch and visit the new visitor’s center.

While focusing on the Geothermal and landscape features, wildlife are still in abundance with a good chance that you will come across Bison, Elk, Coyotes, Bald Eagles, and Trumpeter Swans.

GRAND CANYON OF THE YELLOWSTONE TOUR

From West Yellowstone you turn left at Madison Junction to heading towards Canyon. On the way you will witness the impressive Gibbon Falls, continuing past Norris Geyser Basin to Canyon were you get to see the Majestic Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone from either Rim and the Lower Falls from Lookout Point.

Make sure you pack a lunch (we will be happy to take care of this for you) as there are no catering facilities available at Canyon in the winter.

Usually there will be plenty of wildlife to view, and the Canyon tour offers the best chance of spotting a wolf.

SKI SHUTTLE

Take our exclusive and unique “Three Rivers Ski Shuttle” and ski along the Madison, Gibbon & Firehole Rivers. Or, trips can be customized to suit your needs and abilities. Many of the Bear Proof containers you will see in the park were first tested here. They also have a collection of “not so bear proof” bins that didn’t pass the bear inspection.
